Is your current issue of agency apparel, vests, duty rigs, carry pouches and or any operational nylon gear chemical free???? Nylon is made from petroleum, however, nylon is often combined with many other plastics that contain other additives in their final product. For example, nylon fabric is treated with highly fluorinated PFAS chemicals. Nylon is mostly used for vest, duty gear and bags, however, the production of nylon creates nitrous oxide, a greenhouse gas 310 times more polluting than carbon dioxide, making nylon a harmful fabric for the environment. Moreover, apparel & equipment made from nylon do not absorb sweat and moisture well, causing bad odors and skin irritations WARNING: What does nitrous do to the human body? Products made of nylon can irritate the skin, trigger allergies, and create respiratory issues since it releases poisonous gases when burned. Moreover, the usage of hazardous chemicals in nylon manufacture results in environmental pollution.
